Immersive Media Filmmaker

Rachel Bracker is a virtual reality filmmaker with a background in documentary filmmaking and multimedia journalism. She has directed, produced, and edited several 360 documentaries that explore a range of topics, from saving the Grand Canyon to the world's oldest drag queen.

Her work has screened at FIVARS Festival of International Virtual and Augmented Reality Stories, Boulder International Film Festival, and the Portland Film Festival. Her 360 films have been featured by Samsung VR, Kaleidoscope, and Youtube.

She is currently directing a 360 docuseries called With the Wind and the Stars about women in aviation.

Rachel believes virtual reality should be accessible for all and wants to expand the audience for VR to make the industry more diverse.

To reach that goal, you can find her teaching 360 filmmaking at NW Documentary. She is also teaching VR Cinema Appreciation at PCC this fall!
